Classification of valves
valve
According to power
Automatic valve: the valve that depends on the force of the medium itself. Such as check valve, pressure reducing valve, drain valve, etc.
Drive valve: valve operated by human, electric, hydraulic, pneumatic and other external forces. Such as stop valve, throttle valve, gate valve, butterfly valve, ball valve, plug valve, etc.
According to structural characteristics
Cut off valve: cut off or connect pipeline medium. Such as stop valve, gate valve, ball valve, plug valve, etc;
Regulating valve: adjust the pressure or flow of medium. Such as pressure reducing valve, regulating valve;
Check valve: to prevent backflow of medium. Such as check valve. Genius valve
Distribution valve: change the flow direction of medium, play the role of distribution. Such as three-way cock, three-way stop valve, etc.
Gas trap drain valve: retain gas, drain condensate, such as trap.
According to the control method
Manual valve: with the help of hand wheel, handle, lever, sprocket, gear, worm gear, etc., operated by human
Electric valve: valve operated by electric power.
Pneumatic valve: a valve operated by means of compressed air.
Hydraulic valve: with the help of water, oil and other liquids, transfer external force to operate the valve.
By pressure
Vacuum: valve with pressure less than 1 kg / cm2.
Low pressure: valve with nominal pressure less than 16 kg / cm2.
Medium pressure: valve with nominal pressure of 25-64 kg / cm2.
High pressure: valve with nominal pressure of 100-800 kg / cm2.
According to medium temperature
Common valve: - 40 to 450 ℃ (medium temperature)}.
High temperature valve: 450 to 600 ℃ (medium temperature) valve.
Heat resistant valve: valve above 600 ℃ (medium temperature).
Low temperature valve: - 40 to - 70 ℃ (medium temperature) valve.
Cryogenic valve: - 70 to - 196 ℃ (medium temperature).
Ultra low temperature valve: valve below - 196 ℃ (medium temperature).
By nominal diameter
Small diameter: valve with nominal diameter less than 40mm.
Medium bore: 50 to 300 mm nominal diameter valves.
Large bore: 350 to 1200 mm nominal diameter valves.
Extra large diameter: valve with nominal diameter greater than 1400mm.
