What are the special valves for fire fighting?

The fire water supply system is divided into two types: outdoor fire water supply and indoor fire water supply. Its main functional units include fire water source, fire pump, water supply network, pipe network control equipment, fire hydrant, water pump binder and so on.

Fire water source can use municipal water supply network, fire pool, natural water source, medium water and so on. The fire pump should be self-irrigation water suction pump. When the fire pump draws water directly from the municipal pipe network, a backflow preventer with air partition function should be set on the discharge pipe of the fire pump.

Generally, municipal water supply network is used for fire fighting, and pressure water supply pipeline is used for pipelines. Gate valve, globe valve, butterfly valve, check valve, filter and so on are mostly used for valves. Backflow preventer is also used for pipeline connection, and flange and groove pipe fittings are mostly used for connection. High level fire water tank shall be set when the floor is higher; When the potential fire water consumption is large and the outlet pressure is high, the water supply should be divided.
