2. The mark is to mark the valve nominal pressure, working pressure, nominal diameter and medium flow direction on the valve body by casting, printing and other methods. There is also a mark on the valve - opening indicator, which has a scale mark for opening or an arrow indicating opening and closing. The upper end of throttle valve and Non rising stem gate valve is equipped with opening indicator, and the hand wheel is marked with an arrow pointing to the closing direction. A straight groove is engraved on the end face of the valve stem. The notch is consistent with the valve channel to indicate opening, and the groove is closed when the groove is 90 ° to the channel.

3. The valve is coated with various kinds of paint, not only for rust prevention and good-looking. It is to facilitate identification of the valve material. Indicates painting of valve body material. Indicates the painting of sealing surface material.

In order to see its structure, material and basic characteristics from the appearance of the valve, it is required to cast, print or install a name plate on the valve body to indicate the valve model, nominal diameter, medium flow direction and factory name, and paint different colors on the valve body, hand wheel and flange outer edge as required.
